Appointing the Director General of General Department of Energy

Minister Vu Huy Hoang awarded the decision to appoint Director General of the General Department of  Energy (GDE) to Mr. Dang Huy Cuong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Vu Huy Hoang congratulated Mr. Dang Huy Cuong and hoped that with his experiences, ability and responsibilities, Mr. Cuong will continue to bring into play achievements, and strive to complete excellently the missions of the General Department of Energy, to be suitable a main force unit of the MoIT.

With the role of an important sector in ensuring national energy security, the General Department of Energy needs to raise the management and operation capacity; strengthen coordination with the units within the ministry and with 3 groups as Electricity of Vietnam, PetroVietnam and Vinacomin, as well as ensuring internal unity in order to develop the General Department of Energy into a strong unit.

General Director Dang Huy Cuong thanked MoIT leaders for the trust in appointing him to this important position; he also expected to receive further guidance of the Ministry’ leaders and support of the units under the Ministry and Energy groups to develop General Department of Energy more and more.
