Cooperation between Vinacomin and Marubeni on coal import for Vietnam market

President and CEO Dang Thanh Hai and Mr. Hirohide Sagara - Chief Representative in Vietnam of Marubeni Corporation at the meeting.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the areas of power and coal import. Marubeni is confident with experience at Na Duong I Thermal Power Plant and looking forward to promote cooperation with Vinacomin in project of Na Duong II Thermal Power Plant.
Especially in the future, Marubeni wants to further expand cooperation with Vinacomin on coal import sector. Based on experiences, worldwide activities, Marubeni introduced with Vinacomin its strengths in coal import.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to accelerate cooperation of coal import. This is seen as promising areas of cooperation between Vinacomin and Marubeni in the future.
