EVN has completed 182 power grid projects for 9 first months 2016

 - Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) informed that to the end of Sept. 2016, the group has completed 182 power grid projects including 7, 29 and 146 projects of 500 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV respectively.

The projects to guarantee power supply for the southern region are: 500 kV My Tho, Pleiku 2, 220 kV Ham Tan, My Xuan substations, and 220 kV Cau Bong – Hoc Mon – Binh Tan turn transmission line.

In other areas there were completed projects as 500 kV Pho Noi substation, 220 kV substations under 500 kV Da Nang, Nho Quan, Vinh Tuong substation, and substations with increasing capacity as 220 kV Phu Binh, Krong Buk, Thuan An, Vinh Yen…

Regarding 110 kV power grid, EVN has completed the important projects to supply power for Hanoi city as 110 kV Noi Bai Airport, Mo Lao substations, 14 other substations with increasing capacity, and Van Tri-Dong Anh line (second circuit) and Dong Anh – Mai Lam line improvement

In IV quarter, EVN should direct its units to concentrate on implementing focusing projects as power grid projects in synchronizing with Vinh Tan, Long Phu, Song Hau and Thai Binh thermal power centers, projects for power transmission from Trung Son hydropower plant and for interconnection between the hydropower plants in North-west area.

EVN asked National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) to guarantee progress of the projects supplying power for the Southern region as 220 kV Phan Thiet –Phu My 2, Tan Uyen – Thuan An lines and Vung Tau, Tan Cang, Urban District 8 (HCM city) substations…

EVN also asked EVNNPT and EVN Hanoi power Corporation to complete: to raise capacity for 500 kV Thuong Tin substation;  500 kV Hiep Hoa – Dong Anh – Bac Ninh 2, 220 kV Hoa Binh – Western Hanoi transmission lines; 220 kV Western Hanoi, Long Bien, Dong Anh substations; and new 110 kV lines and substations in Hanoi city.
