EVN ranks second in Vietnam’s top 500 largest enterprises in 2021

Top 10 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2021.

VNR500 is to recognize and honor businesses greatly to the developing economy of Vietnam.

In 2021, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) maintains the 2nd position in the 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500) after the first place as Vietnam’s Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd in Thai Nguyen province.

This is the 14th time EVN consecutively entered the top 10 leading enterprises in VNR500 as a research result of Vietnam Report, establishing on scientific, independent principles complied with international standards and verified by the data of the enterprise for ensuring objectivity and accuracy.

VNR500 assesses ranks of the businesses by the basic criterion of total turnover and criteria such as profit, growth rate, labor, assets and media reputation.

VNR500 enters the 15th year on the way of finding, recognizing and honoring worthy achievements of the large enterprises, maintaining efficient and stable production and business activities, the enterprises with a resilient skill and spirit and as an economic locomotive during the recent challenging period due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The VNR500 also contributes to introducing Vietnamese business brands to the business community as well as domestic and international investors, creating connections with the world's leading entrepreneurs and scholars through a series of activities to support brand development from the Program Organizing Committee.

It is known that in 2021VNR500 list, besides the parent company as EVN, there are also 7 its members including: Power Generation Corporation 3 - JSC (30th); Power Generation Corporation 1 (31st); Joint Stock Company (47th) under the Power Generation Corporation 2; National Power Transmission Corporation (70th); Khanh Hoa Electricity Joint Stock Company (274th); Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (352nd) and Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Corporation (446th).
