Increasing capacity of Trung Nam wind power project

- Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has signed the Document No. 311/TTg-CN on March 10, 2020 for agreeing to adjust the capacity of Trung Nam wind power project from 105.75 MW to 151.95 MW Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Document No.1237/BCT-DL, dated 25/22020, on adjusting capacity of Trung Nam wind power project (that has been supplemented to Power Development Planning VII adjusted by Prime Minister) from 105.75 MW to 151.95 MW.
According to Document No 70/TTg- CN on January 9, 2020 of the Prime Minister, the progress schedule to put the additional capacity of the project into operation would be synchronized with the schedule of Thuan Nam 500 kV substation and the 500 kV and 220 kV connection lines.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung also assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to be responsible for the proposal to increase the capacity of the above project, for ensuring that additional capacity will not overload the regional power grid, and for guiding the relevant units to implement.
