Temporarily stopping to supplement wind power projects to the PDP VII (adjusted)

The MOIT has just sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) on classifying the list of the wind power projects in the locality proposed to consider in the National Power Development Planning in 2021 – 2030 period with vision up to 2045 (PDP VIII}.
Before that, implementing direction of the Prime Minister (PM) on checking wind power projects, MOIT submitted to PM a document on results for checking 74 wind power projects with a total capacity of about 6,400 MW.
At present MOIT is hurrying up to complete PDP VIII to submit PM in October 2020, so MOIT asks PPCs to classify wind power projects with concrete details as the project name, capacity, locality, connection which are proposing to be studied, surveyed and supplemented to PDP and have separately submitted to MOIT.
PPCs have to be responsible for checking localities of the wind power projects in accordance with current regulations and a number of criterion specified in Document No 4865/BCT-ĐL, dated July 6, 2020 and Document No 4640/BCT-ĐL dated June 26, 2020 ò MOIT.
