Searching investment partner for Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Project

Regarding the Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Project, the Government agreed to search for the domestic and foreign partners to invest in the project.
The Government has just issued Resolution No. 115/ NQ-CP on implementing a number of specific mechanisms and policies to support Ninh Thuan province in socio-economic development, and production and people's life stabilization in 2018-2023 period.
The Government assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) to chair, coordinate with the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and Ninh Thuan provincial People's Committee to implement the mechanisms and policies to attract investors for the above projects.
In addition, the Government also agreed for Ninh Thuan province to enjoy the electricity price policy given in the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 11/2017 / QD-TTg dated April 11, 2017 until the end of 2020 for solar power projects and connection infrastructure with a designed capacity of 2,000MW that has been approved for implementation by the Prime Minister.
