Overview of the LIG-Quang Tri solar power project

The LIG-Quang Tri solar power project with a capacity of 49.5 MW, annual average generation of 67.63 million kWh and a total investment of more than 1,100 billion VND has been connected with power system by voltage of 110 kV

The leaders and engineers are monitoring energizing the every equipment in the controlling room of LIG – Quang Tri solar power project

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thi, the Director of LIG - Quang Tri project said: the present good results have been achieved due to the important concerns supports of the leaders of local, central departments and people in the project area for project implementation process to meet a lot of advantages. In particular, it must be emphasized that the 110 kV line from 110 kV Quan Ngang substation to the project with a length of 11 km and 110 kV transformer substation at the solar power plant with the support of the people were implemented very conveniently and in time.

According to Mr. Thi, due to requirement to put the project into commercial operation before June 30, 2019, to enjoy electricity selling price of 9.35 US Cents/kWh regulated in the Decision No. 11/2017/QD - TTg dated at  April 11, 2017 of the Prime Minister, the Company closely combined with the contractors to offer the best options to complete the project in time as expected schedule.

“Up to this moment, all of us are very happy by the successful impulse energizing the 110 kV transformer substation of the solar power project. This is also the first step for the LIG – Quang Tri solar power project to be put into commercial operation at the end of May" LIG - Quang Tri Director shared.
