Supplementing two clean energy projects in Binh Thuan province into the NPDP

The Hong Phong 1 solar power project with a capacity of 250 MW will be developed on an area of about 350ha in Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district, Binh thuan province.
The Hoa Thang 1.2 wind power project with a capacity of 100 MW will be developed on an area of 50ha in Cho Lau town, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province.
To guarantee feasibility and efficiency of the additional projects, MOC proposes to supplement assessment on the capabilities of finance and construction investment of the investors and concrete analysis on socio-economic effectiveness of the projects.
For the components of the projects as wind turbines, structures of solar PV sets, transformer substations, power transmission lines, regional power grid connections and road system… must be generally presented with necessary drawings for clearing the investment size of the projects.
It is necessary to supplement requirement for extending capacity of the Hoa Thang 1.2 wind power project from 30MW in the Wind power development planning of Binh Thuan province in 2011-2010 period and outlook up to 2030 approved by MOIT in Decision No 4715/QĐ-BCT, dated 16/8/2012 to 100MW into the National Power Development Planning, this time.
