The unit No2 of Vinh Tan 4 TPP has been successfully synchronized

The representative of investor said, before unit No2 of Vinh Tan 4 TPP synchronizing, its environment protection systems as flue gas desulfurization (FGD) by sea water, electrostatic precipitator (ESP) were put into operation right from firing the boiler. Therefore, ensuring environmental requirements is met strictly in the test phase and when the plant is put into official operation.
Vinh Tan 4 TPP is invested by EVN which assigned EVN GENCO3 as Project Management Board. The construction of the project is implemented by the consortium of Doosan (Korea) – Mitsubishi (Japan) – Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company (PECC) 2 – Thai Binh Duong Joint Stock Company (Vietnam).
Vinh Tan 4 TPP including two units with a capacity of 600 MW (2x600 MW) and supercritical technology is one of the five TPPs in Vinh Tan Power Center, located in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district (Binh Thuan province), around 250 km from Ho Chi Minh city on the northern direction.
This project has been supplemented into Power Development Planning VII and placed in the list of the urgent projects in 2016 -2020 period by the Decision of the Prime Minister.
