Vietcombank finances VND360 billion for Ban Ang Hydropower Project

The signing Ceremony of the Credit Agreement on financing Ban Ang Hydropower project (HPP) between Vinh Vietcombank and Nam Mo – Nam Non Joint Stock Hydropower Company.
The total investment capital of HPP estimates VND 514 billion, of which 360 billion financed by Vinh VietcomBank and the remain – by Investor.
The Ban Ang HPP is built on Nam Mo river (the main tributary of the Ca river) in Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province.
The project consists of two units with a 17MW total installed capacity and 68,51 million kWh per year power generation.
By the timing schedule, the project will be started out at the first Quarter of 2015 and put into operation at the third Quarter of 2017.
Ban Ang HPP is the first investment project in Nghe An province and Northern Central region participating in the Renewable Energy Development Program (REDF) assessed and approved with very tight conditions and standards.
