Vinacomin is preparing to implement the plan in 2017 with a new spirit

Reporting to the PM, Mr. Le Minh Chuan stated, in 2016 although there was a lot of difficulties, but Vinacomin had effectively carried out successful solutions in production development investment, strengthening mechanization, increasing productivity, decreasing costs, promoting business restructure, cutting down the staffs, overcoming difficulties, stabilizing production, jobs and livelihood of labors, trying the best to perform production and business targets.
In 2016, Vinacomin produced and sold around 35 million tons of coal, average income of labors reached VND 8 million/person/month, and particularly, of coal mining workers – VND 9.5 million/person/month.
The Vinacomin Chairman also informed: at present the inventory coal amount is a high level, so Vinacomin and Quang Ninh provincial leaderships asked the government to allow increasing to export it, and government has agreed.
In coming time, under the direction of the government, Vinacomin will implement more strongly restructure to gradually deeply equitize production sectors in 2017-2020 period...
Vinacomin is currently summarizing the production and business plan in 2016, and preparing to perform the plan in 2017 with a new spirit and the higher targets.
