Approving EPC general contractor for Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Project

Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Project with a capacity of 1200 MW invested by Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) in Quang Trach Power Center (2,400 MW) in Vinh Son village, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant uses the ultra - supercritical (USC) technology with the impute parameters as the main steam pressure of 26.9 Mpa; main steam temperature of 6000C, re-drying steam temperature of 6100C. This is the most advanced technology and the highest parameters in Vietnam today, used in many developed countries around the world.
In particular, the coal conveyor system, desulfurization and dust removal system ... of the project are applied in accordance with the European standards, so the concentration of substances in the exhaust gas and wastewater before discharging into environment will meet the standards on environmental protection of Vietnam and WB standards.
According to the assigned turnkey contract, the first unit of Quang Trach TPP will be completed within 42 months, the second one – 48 months, and the warranty period of project is 24 months.
