Expert perpectives on Offshore Wind Energy development during the Danish Royal Visit to Vietnam

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark, the Danish Royal delegation represented by Danish Crown Prince Frederick and his wife Princess Mary. Accompanying the Crown Prince was a a high-level business delegation of 36 leading Danish companies under the theme “Creating a Greener Future Together”. Among them, 22 companies operate within the wind energy sector and 14 companies within the energy efficiency sector. They represent some of the leading and most innovative Danish actors in their sector.
During the visit, Danish Crown Prince Federik attended a trade and investment promotion event between Denmark and Hai Phong in offshore wind power. This event is an opportunity to share and exchange knowledge, experience in renewable energy in a whole and offshore wind power in general, as well as booster cooperation for both sides in the near future.

“With the orientation of becoming a modern, smart and sustainable industrial city, Hai Phong wants to seek more solutions regarding sustainable energy to contribute to the city’s common development”, Mr Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of Hai Phong said.
Attended this event, IPC Group, represented for sustainable energy enterprises in Vietnam, has shared the expectation in the view of a Contractor and Project Developer in offshore wind power sector.

The event created a forum for trade connecting new partnerships for the offshore wind energy supply chain, as well as transfer knowledge and promote potential investment.
