This is the reason why GE creates this competition for these ambitious, creative and brilliant startups to challenge and perfect themselves with the great support from Predix – our mean of transforming into a leading digital industrial company.”

Taking human resource development as one of the core values, GE has been striving to bring initiatives for talent facilitating, especially targeting at university students. These campaigns and competitions have received a lot of attention from university students around the globe, including Vietnam.

Last year, GE partnered with NineSigma and more than 125 of the best engineering universities in the world to organize the Unimpossible Missions: University Edition challenge 2016. In this global competition, students were encouraged to select an idiom based on the guidelines given and then described a solution to debunk that idiom using a GE Technology Toolkit to win a scholarship of up to $100,000. The grand prize was awarded to Christopher Nguyen from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA with the “Unring a Bell” experiment.

GE also brought the regional digital roadshow themed “When Industry marries Digital” to students from Hanoi University of Technology and Ho Chi Minh University of Science and Technology with the participation of more than 300 students.
