H5 unit of Da Nhim HPP has been successfully synchronized with the Power System

Da Nhim – Ham Thuan - Da my Hydropower JSC Officials, Engineers and Constructors are pleased at the moment of successfully synchronizing the H5 unit with the National Power System.
The Da Nhim extended HPP project includes an aggregate with a capacity of 80 MW, intake, pressure tunnel with a length of 4.7km, pressurized tower and penstock with a length of over 2 km.
The project was invested by Da Nhim – Ham Thuan - Da my Hydropower JSC (EVN Genco 1) with a total investment level of 1,952 billion VND including 85% from the loan of Official Development Assistance (ODA) Fund of Japanese Government through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and 15% from the equity of the investor.
The H5 unit contributes to increase the capacity of Da Nhim HPP from 160 to 240 MW and add it’s generation for 99 million kWh per year.
