Approving the project on overall design of IT infrastructure for servicing power market

The Independent Power Plants, EVN Power Corporations, EVN Power Transmission Corporation and large power usage customers participating in the competitive bulk power sale market are responsible to arrange capital for upgrading and investing IT infrastructure under their management and operation.

MOIT assigns EVN Group to undertake investment procedures, approve investment project and bidding documents for international bidding packages in the second quarter, 2017.

In order to meet progress requirement, at the same time with establishing investment project, EVN to rent international consultants for supporting to make detail deign, technical requirements and standards of the systems in IT infrastructure of the competitive bulk power sale market on the basis of assessing the current state of IT infrastructure of the competitive power generation, and overall design of IT infrastructure of the competitive bulk power sale market. The expenditure of renting consultants to be accounted for in the project costs.

The implementation of investment, installation, test operation and check before acceptant of the IT systems under IT infrastructure for Electricity Regulatory Authority, Unit of power system and power market operation and the subordinate units satisfying requirements of the competitive bulk power sale market by the stages, and the co-ordination with member units in power market for IT investment are regulated in AppendixNo2of this Decision.

MOIT assigns EVN NPT and EVN Power Corporations (with functions of electricity distribution, bulk purchase and retail sale ) 

to invest in making newly or upgrading necessary equipment for systems: Interface system for exchanging information with members of power market (MPI-Client), channel to the large extent network for power system and power market operation, measuring system, instruments for collecting and managing electricity data…

MOIT also assigns power plants participated in competitive power generation market to invest in equipment for interface operation to exchange information with the members of power market (MPI - Client) and large power usage customers participating in competitive bulk power sale market to invest in MPI – Client, terminal equipment and channel linking the large extent network.

The Electricity Regulatory Authority is responsible to follow and collect and classify petitions of relevant units in process of  IT infrastructure, report to MOIT for solving or solve by the competence.
