In his opening remarks, Vinacomin General Director Vu Anh Tuan emphasized that in July 2025, the Government officially approved Vinacomin’s “Coal Export Plan for the 2026–2030 period,” providing a legal framework and strategic direction for the new phase. Vinacomin is committed to maintaining a stable supply of approximately 3 million tons per year, enhancing coal quality and logistics services, while also expanding its cooperation with new partners.
Representatives from Marubeni (Japan), Oxbow (Netherlands), Genesco (South Korea) and others highly appreciated Vinacomin’s role in the global coal supply chain. They expressed confidence that the 2026–2030 plan will open new opportunities for cooperation and reaffirmed their long-term commitment to accompany Vinacomin.
Concluding the meeting, Vinacomin Chairman of the Members’ Council, Ngo Hoang Ngan, reaffirmed the Group’s emphasis on sustainable partnerships and commitment to effectively implementing the 2026–2030 plan. Vinacomin will ensure the supply of up to 3 million tons of high-quality coal annually at flexible, market-responsive prices. He also extended sincere thanks to international customers for their support and cooperation.
Before the meeting, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan met with leaders of Genesco (South Korea) and Marubeni (Japan), reiterating Vinacomin’s appreciation for strategic customers and its readiness to expand cooperation in the new phase.
