Announcing and awarding the decision to appoint the Chairman of the Vinacomin Members' Council

 - On the morning of May 8, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision on the appointment of the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Vinacomin Members' Council.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises handed over the decision to mobilize and appoint Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan to hold the position of Chairman of the Member Council of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin).

Previously, on April 28, 2023, the Prime Minister (PM) signed Decision 456/QD-TTg on the mobilization and appointment of Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation XV Quang Ninh Province to hold Vinacomin Chairman.

On May 8, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Division also made a decision to appoint Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan as Secretary of the Vinacomin Party Committee

Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan has experienced the following positions:

1/ Member of Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Vinacomin.

2/ Member of the Quang Ninh Standing Committee, Secretary of the Mong Cai City Party Committee.

3/ Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, then Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

4/ Head of the Delegation of the 15th National Assembly, of Quang Ninh Province

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises - Nguyen Hoang Anh hoped that in the new position, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan would continue to maintain his quality, firm bravery, and together with Vinacomin Member Council to build Vinacomin bigger and stronger and maintain its position as one of the three pillars of national energy. Mr. Anh also asked the ministries and Quang Ninh agencies to coordinate and support Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan and Vinacomin Member Council in production and business activities.

The new Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinacomin Members, and Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of Quang Ninh province thanked the trust and confidence of the Party Secretariat and the Prime Minister in appointing and designating him to position of the Vinacomin Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Member Council.

Emphasizing that at present Vinacomin should face new development opportunities and very large difficulties, and challenges, Mr. Ngo Hoang Ngan affirmed that in the new position, he would cooperate with the Vinacomin leadership. cadres and employees to bring into play the spirit of traditional solidarity of "Discipline - Consensus" of the mining working class to continuously fulfill excellent production and business tasks of the Group. In particular, to focus on building the overall and long-term development strategy of the whole Group as well as for each production and business field. Continue to focus on taking care of and further improving the lives of employees; focus on building the Party, and the political system, and prevent corruption and negativity.

The new Chairman of Vinacomin wishes to continuously receive the attention, support, and facilitation of ministries, central and local agencies especially Quang Ninh provincial agencies in the process of working for himself as well as Vinacomin has successfully completed the assigned tasks, continuing to affirm the role and position of an important economic group of the country.
