Vinacomin has completed 54% of the plan in 2019

In the first months of 2019, Vinacomin produced: 21.8 million tons of crude coal, equal to 54% of the year plan and sold 22.9 million tons of it (22.68 million tons for domestic market and 280 thousand tons for export), equal to 55% of the year plan; 675 thousand tons of equivalent alumina, equal to 52% of the year plan; the other products as copper plates, zinc lamps, fine iron ore achieved the year plan; 5.4 TWh of electricity, equal to 56% of the year plan; 36.8 thousand tons of explosive, equal to 56% of the year plan and sold 54.4 thousand tons of it, equal to 50% of the year plan.
The total turnover of the group estimated 68 thousand billion VND and profits – 1,800 billion VND.
Up to the June 2019, the total amount of employees of Vinacomin was 97,957 persons with average monthly salary of 11.437 million VND/person, among which for coal producer was 12.978 million, equal to 107% of the plan and 106.3% in comparison with it in 2018, for pitman – 18 million VND.
In the last 6 months of the year, Vinacomin will strive to increase the total turnover of the group by 2.4 thousand billion in comparison with the turnover in 2018, paying budget by 9.5 trillion VND, increasing by 400 billion VND compared to 2018.
It is expected that in 2019, the Group will implement comprehensively all the socio-economic targets, specifically:
1.To reach a total turnover of 128 trillion VND with an increase of 5.2% in comparison with the 2018 turnover, budget payment of 17.2 trillion VND with an increase of 7.5% compared to it in 2018.
2.To produce 40 million tons of crude coal, to sell 42 million tons and to import 4.6 million tons; to produce 1.3 million tons of alumina minerals; 14,000 tons of copper plates; 11,000 tons of zinc lumps; 220 thousand tons of steel rough drafts; to generate 9.5 TWh of electricity; to produce and sell 108 thousand tons of explosive; and to produce 148 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate.
To fulfill the above objectives, Vinacomin will take the following directive solutions:
1. To continue to focus on coal production and processing to meet market requirements, especially to ensure coal supply for power sector and national energy security.
2.To promote producing the major mineral products such as alumina, copper, zinc and steel rough drafts when market requires products with the good prices.
3.To strengthen mechanization, automation, intelligent solutions and synchronize the production lines to improve labor productivity, and production and business efficiency.
4. To tighten activities on safety management and mine boundary security.
5.To continue implementing arrangement of rational production in streamlined direction in accordance with the Project on Restructure of Vietnam Coal Industry in the period of 2017-2020.
6. To continue implementing the policies and regimes for encouraging employees, especially the pitmen, high-class workers and technicians.
