Vinacomin produces 6.4 million tons of coal in the first 2 months of 2015

According to the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), in the first two months of this year, the Group produced 6.4 million tonnes of coal. The volume of rock removal in the first two months of this year reached an estimated 30.8 million cu.m. Coal consumption in the first two months of this year reached 4.8 million tonnes.

the revenue of the Group in the first two months of this year reached VND15,700 billion. Of which, revenue from coal reached VND 7,000 billion. Vinacomin and the unit members are focused on the implementation of 23 key projects.
To achieve these remarkable results, Vinacomin directed member units to strengthen production in accordance with market demand, promoted technical management and strictly controlled quality, contributing to improving business efficiency for the corporation.
It is expected that in 2015, the Group will produce 41 million tons of coal and consume about 38 million tonnes, total revenue strive for VND 114.006 billion, profit is VND 1.500 billion.
