Signing the credit contract for Sao Mai solar power project

The Sao Mai Solar PV1 with a total capacity of 210MW, average output of 302 million kWh per year and investment of 5600 billion VND will be developed on area of 275 ha in An Hao commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang province.
The phase 1 of the Sao Mai Solar PV1 with a capacity of 104 MW expects to be put into operation before June 30, 2019.
This project is developed to ensure sufficient electricity supply for production and daily-life of population communities along the Vietnam- Cambodia borders, especially for cultivating high-tech agricultural products for export.
The Sao Mai Solar PV1 as a largest scale in ASEAN would also become a model for attracting tourists and creating job for many people in locality. This project will not only bring a great income to Sao Mai group but also have an important economic and political significance.
