Vinacomin will regulate reasonable coal prices for power sector

 - At the online briefing meeting for executing production in April 2017, Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, Vinacomin CEO asked the subsidiaries to actively work with power customers for agreeing to regulate reasonable coal prices, strengthen management of resources and product quality, and reduce the rate of losses in mining by 5%...

Information from Vinacomin said, in the first quarter 2017, due to coal production increased fairly, turnover of the group has reached about VND24,554 billion, equal to 23% of the year plan and 104% of the turnover in the same time of 2016.

In April, 2017 Vinacomin plans to: produce 3,2 million ton and sell 3,45 million ton of coal (3,32 million ton for domestic market and 130 thousand ton for export), strip 14,6 million cubic meters of gravelly soil, dig 20,916 meters of the pit and generate 850 million kWh of electricity…

For fulfilling productive plan, Mr. Dang Thanh Hai  asked the subsidiaries to actively work with power customers for agreeing to regulate reasonable coal prices, strengthen management of resources and product quality, and reduce the rate of losses in mining by 5% in comparison with the last year, tighten checking and taking over the mining volumes and technological norms, strengthen management of resources by mining boundaries and progress of coal transportation and sale, effectively use cameras and GPS…
