Ceremony for starting construction of Solar Power Project BIM 1 (project 18E)
Project BIM 1 with a capacity of 30 MWp, averrage generation of 50 million kWh per year and investment level of 800 billion VND is developed in an area of 35ha. The project will be equipied with more than 90,000 solar PV panels of modern technology and high efficiency. The project expects into operation in the third quarter of 2018, that creates the premise for BIM Group to develop the large project with a total capacity of 330 MWp expected into operation in the first quarter of 2019.
BIM Group has the short-term target to form a largest in Vietnam clean energy farm with more than 300 MW in Ninh Thuan province and the long-term target to develop at least 1000 MW up to 2025.
The project will be carried out by the Conergy company, a contractor with 20 years of experience has implemented more than 300 solar power projects in Europe, America, Middle East and Asia.
