The 25 wind power projects should not be in commercial operation before October 31, 2021

- The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has just informed that, in recent time, EVN signed the power purchase agreements (PPAs) with commercial operation date (COD) as October 31, 2021 for 144 wind power projects with a total capacity of 8,144.88 MW.
Based on the reports of investors, EVN assessed the situations of the wind power projects up to July 22, 2021 are as follow:
- 13 projects with a total capacity of 611.33 MW already in commercial operation;
-106 projects with a total capacity of 5,621.5 MW expect to be put into COD before October 31, 2021, but until July 22, 2021 only 61 projects with a total capacity of 3,487.8 MW registered for testing and synchronizing timely in 90 days before COD
- 25 projects with a total capacity of 1,912.05 MW should not reach COD as October 31, 2021
